What's new
October 2026
A page for the business apps
The website has a new page, /business-apps, for the apps you switch on beside the chatbot: bookings, the queue, customers, invoices, memberships, stock, reports, the customer page, Team AI, agents and the AI API. It is in English, French and Arabic, with real screens of four apps.
The roadmap and release notes match what is live
The roadmap now lists training from past chats, the business apps and agent teams as live. The WHMCS page shows module 1.9.0, the home page describes search as it runs today, and the feature cards on the home page now link to their details.
Managers are told when an agent waits
When an agent run waits for approval, the owner and everyone who manages the workspace get a notice under the bell, and an email the first time if they receive email notices, with a link to the run. It never includes the task, the customer or what the agent wrote.
Run agents from your own software
With the AI API and Agents apps on, your software can list your agents, start a run with a task and read how it ended. Actions and drafts still wait for a manager in the dashboard, as the API cannot approve them. The calls are in the API documentation.
Every change in one place, with an Atom feed
This page lists what we add, improve and fix in MagizAI, newest first, each change dated the day it went live. Filter by kind, share a link to any change, or follow the page in a feed reader in English, French or Arabic.
Agents carry on after you approve
When you approve what an agent running on its own asked to do, it is now told how each action went and carries on with its task, and a workflow waiting on it goes on too. A run with several actions can be approved or rejected one action at a time.
Front desk refresh keeps to a member's branches
The front desk's automatic refresh in Queue now keeps to the branches a team member belongs to, as the desk's own buttons already did.
Chatbots for several businesses in one workspace
Each chatbot can now have its own business name in its General tab, used in its replies, emails and booking and quote messages. In Features, turn off the shared skills, pinned answers and memories so a chatbot uses only its own.
Inbox list of chats by widget
When a workspace has more than one chatbot, the inbox now has a Widgets list with each one and its open chats. Pick one to see only its conversations, and each chat is labelled with the widget it came through.
Easier uploads when you train a chatbot
On the Train page, drop files onto a real drop zone and watch each one upload, with a reason shown for any file that cannot be used. Website addresses are checked as you type, and questions and answers can be added one row at a time.
The "Talk to a human" switch now saves
Showing or hiding the Talk to a human link in a chatbot's Handoff and hours tab is now saved. Before, the change was lost when you saved that tab.
One list for everyone you serve
One list of the people you serve, with contact details, consent to messages and their bookings, chats, quotes and leads linked by phone or email. Merge duplicates, erase a record, export a CSV or ask AI for a short summary. Switch it on in Apps.
A queue with tokens by QR code
Set up a line for each counter or doctor. People take a token by QR code or link and follow their place and estimated wait on their phone. The front desk calls the next number and adds walk-ins, a waiting-room board shows numbers only, and a QR poster is ready to print.
A bookings calendar, by day or by week
Bookings now has a calendar: one day with a column for each team member, or a whole week. Block a team member's time for a meeting or leave, and nobody can book them in that time, not on your forms, in the chat or by hand.
Team AI, an assistant for your staff
Team AI answers your team's questions, drafts replies and WhatsApp messages, summarises and translates, using your business's trained knowledge. Each person's conversations are private, and nothing is sent to anyone. Switch it on in Apps.
AI inside the apps, even without a chatbot
The AI helpers in the apps, such as summaries, drafts and reading a receipt, work even if you never add a chatbot to your site. Each use counts against your plan's monthly AI messages, the same as a chat reply.
AI stays out of health details unless you allow it
In Apps, each app whose AI can read people's details, such as Customers, Invoices or Team AI, has its own switch for health details. It is off by default, needs your own two-step login to turn on and is written to the activity log. When on, those details go only to your workspace's AI provider.
Require two-step login for managers or everyone
In Settings, Security, choose who must use two-step login: managers or every member. Anyone it applies to who has not turned it on is asked to do so in their profile before they go on, and the page lists the members who still have it off.
An AI API for your own software
Developers can call MagizAI's AI with an API token to write, rewrite, summarise, extract fields, classify, translate, or answer a question from your business's trained knowledge. Switch AI API on in Apps, then tick Can use the AI API on a token in Settings, API tokens.
Birthday and recall triggers in workflows
Start a workflow on a customer's birthday, or a set number of months after their last visit. Both run only for people in Customers who agreed to messages, and a recall skips anyone with a booking coming up. The Customers app needs to be on.
Share quotes and bookings by a secure link
Send a quote or a booking confirmation as a link that opens only after a 6-digit code emailed to the recipient. The email never says what the document is, each open is counted, and you can revoke a link at any time. Workflows can send one too.
Invoices and receipts, with part payments and GST
Make an invoice from scratch, for a customer, from bookings or from an accepted quote. Issued invoices get a number that is never reused and stay as issued. Your team records payments, refunds and advances with receipts, and can email the invoice with a PDF and a customer link.
Expenses, with receipts AI can read
Record what the business spends with a photo or PDF of the receipt, and press Fill from receipt to have AI fill in the form for you to check. Expenses go to a manager for approval, repeating costs are added again on their dates, and a report shows totals and what is still to pay.
Consent forms signed by link or in person
Write consent forms and waivers as versioned templates, or let AI draft one. Send a form by a link that opens with an emailed code, or hand over a tablet at the desk: it stays on the form until a staff member types their password. Each signed record is locked and has a PDF.
Memberships with a discount or included sessions
Make membership plans with a price, a length and a discount, included sessions or both. Each membership has its own invoice and counts once it is paid. Apply member benefits on invoice lines, use sessions at the desk and email renewal reminders. Needs Customers and Invoices.
Reports, and plain questions about your numbers
See bookings, customers, revenue, memberships and queue numbers by day, week or month, and download CSV or Excel. With Ask your numbers, AI picks the report and dates for your question, the numbers come from your records and you see the table. AI never sees customer details.
Inventory with stores, batches and purchase orders
Track items in a central store and in departments, with batches and expiry dates. Departments ask for stock with requisitions, purchase orders arrive in one or more deliveries, managers can get daily low-stock and expiry emails, and a reorder list suggests what to buy.
A private page for each customer
Your customers sign in with a 6-digit code sent to the email on their record and see their own bookings, invoices and receipts, memberships and signed forms. Share the page's address, print its QR poster or send a sign-in link from Customers. Nothing to install.
Branches, and who works at which one
Add the places your business works from, each with a short code, and number invoices per branch if you like. Tick the branches each team member works at: they then see only those branches' invoices, expenses, stock, bookings and queues. Reports can be filtered by branch too.
Import from another system by CSV or Excel
Bring people, appointments, opening balances and a price list over from another system's CSV or Excel export. Match the columns, or let AI guess from the column names, check a preview, then run it. Skipped rows come back with the reason, and an import can be undone for 7 days.
Agents that do a task, with your approval
Give an AI agent a role, the knowledge it may read and the tools it may use. Every run is logged step by step with a cost estimate, and anything it would send, change or charge waits for a manager. Agents can work as a team with a checker, under cost caps and a stop-all switch.
Agent steps in workflows
A workflow can now hand a task to one of your agents, or to a team of agents where a lead splits the work and a checker reviews the result. When an agent drafts or wants to do something, the steps after it wait until a person approves it. Needs the Agents app on.
Specialist agents that take a topic in chat
In a chatbot's settings, name an agent as a specialist and say which subject it handles. When a visitor's message is clearly about that subject, the specialist answers, then hands back to the chatbot. The visitor sees one conversation and the inbox shows each hand-over.
Set up apps for your kind of business
On the Apps page, pick your kind of business, such as a clinic, salon, gym, shop, restaurant or agency, and the apps that fit are switched on together with what they need. Any app can be switched off later, and nothing is deleted.
Repeat appointments and a morning schedule email
Repeat an appointment every few days or weeks: busy dates are skipped, never double booked, and you can cancel one or the rest of the series. Team members can get their day by email each morning, customers marked as a no-show get a link to book again, and the list exports to CSV.
WHMCS tickets answered from the inbox
With WHMCS module 1.9.0, support tickets show in your inbox next to your chats, marked with their number, department and status, with a Tickets filter. Replies and notes go to the ticket, Close and Reopen change its status, and the AI posts nothing unless you choose.
Business plan on the pricing page
The pricing page now offers a Business plan beside BYOK, Starter and Pro, for teams that need more AI messages, chatbots and seats than Pro. It has its own card and a column in the comparison table, in English, French and Arabic.
Agencies can buy the Reseller plan themselves
The Reseller plan is sold from the white-label page: start it there, or add it in Billing if you already have an account. Reseller tools switch on once you pay, and each client workspace runs on the client's own AI key. It does not appear on the pricing page.
Switch each app on or off in Apps
The Apps page lists each app with an on or off switch for managers. Turning one on also turns on what it needs, and the menu shows only the apps that are on. An app you turn off closes, and its data and settings are kept for when you turn it back on.
A guides page and new guides
A new guides page lists every guide by topic. New ones cover installing on Hostinger, Framer, BigCommerce and WHMCS, WhatsApp replies and bookings, booking and quote forms, after-hours and lead chatbots, and comparisons with other chat tools.
Site pages no longer wait for moving backgrounds
The moving backgrounds on magiz.ai look the same, but they are now drawn apart from the page, start once it has loaded, and give way to a still picture on devices that cannot keep up. The page itself no longer waits for them.
WordPress pages and help centre in French and Arabic
The WordPress and WooCommerce pages now have their own French and Arabic versions, and help centre categories are named in those languages. The install steps now say to upload the downloaded zip in Plugins, Add New, as the plugin is not in the WordPress.org directory.
Chatbots say they are an AI when asked
If a visitor asks whether they are talking to a person, your chatbot now says plainly that it is an AI assistant and never claims to be human. New chatbots also start with a greeting, in English, French and Arabic, that says it is an AI and that a person can be asked for at any time.
Yearly savings on the site match the plans
The yearly saving quoted on the home and pricing pages, in every language, now comes from the plans themselves, so it is the same figure the plan cards show. Unlimited messages are now always marked as being on your own AI key.
Handover messages promise only what happens
While a visitor waits for your team, the chat now says the team was asked to join, with no promise of a reply shortly, and the classic chat window's connected line follows the visitor's language. With handoff set to Easy, a person is called in without a question first.
A greeting and common questions per language
In a chatbot's Common questions tab, each language your visitors use now has its own welcome message and up to six questions. What you leave empty uses All visitors, and Translate from All visitors drafts them with AI for you to check before saving.
Install guides for Wix, Webflow and Squarespace
New pages for Wix, Webflow and Squarespace show where to paste the one line of code and which of each platform's plans allow custom code. They also say plainly that MagizAI learns from your published pages, not from the platform's own store, booking or member data.
Chat messages follow the visitor's language
Lines MagizAI writes itself now come in the visitor's language, French, Arabic or English: busy and offline notices, file upload refusals, the booking summary before confirming, Guide Me and the co-pilot's questions, review and unsubscribe pages, and the email saying a teammate replied.
Real product screens on the home page
The top of the home page now shows two screens taken from MagizAI itself: the team inbox and the chat window a visitor sees. The conversations in them are samples, and the caption says so. Phones show the chat window alone.
Keyword search reads the best matching sources first
When a chatbot searches its sources by keyword, it now looks first at the ones that share the most words with the question, then at titles that name them. Before, it took the oldest matching sources first, so a question and answer added later could be missed.
Ask for reviews after a chat or booking
Switch on Reviews in Apps to email one review ask after a solved chat or a finished booking, or ask by hand from Contacts. Every rater sees your public review links, your own sites included, and ratings of 1 or 2 stars alert your team.
Request forms that take photos and documents
Booking and request forms can now ask for files: images, documents or both, one or several, and you open them from the booking. New ready request forms cover a home services quote, a project quote, a contact form and a job application with a CV.
Quotes your customers accept online
Switch on Forms & quotes in Apps to build quotes from your price book and send them by email, a link or in the chat. Customers accept, decline or ask for changes on their own page, you can ask for an emailed code first, and both sides get the acceptance record.
Free setup and training from our team
Ask our team to set up your chatbot: we train it on your website and documents, connect your tools and test its answers, at no charge. Ask from the banner on your dashboard or Train page, or from the free setup page.
Chat plan cards lead with the monthly price
Plan cards now show the price per month first, with what is billed and how often, and appear in the order the reply names the plans. The order link in a reply is the plan's own link.
Booking page in your brand, with pictures
The booking page now opens light, with the logo and colour from Settings, Brand unless a form keeps its own, and a cleaner layout. In the builder, drop pictures on services and team members, or several at once to match them by file name.
More of the chat window in the visitor's language
The pre-chat form's labels and button, the default greeting and the "AI assistant" line under the chatbot's name now show in French or Arabic for those visitors. The pre-chat settings also say who sees the form and how to see it yourself.
Accessibility fixes in the chat window and dashboard
After a WCAG 2.2 AA check, grey text in the classic chat window is darker on every light theme, and the visitor's bubble deepens your colour until white text reads clearly. Screen readers now name every field in Settings, Email.
No more anonymous leads
A chat where the visitor gave no name, email or phone is no longer saved as a lead, so lead counts and the daily digest leave out anonymous visitors. What they wanted stays in the chat's summary, and the lead is added once they give one of the three.
WordPress plugin 1.3.0 with booking forms and event tools
Put a booking form on any page with the [magizai_booking] shortcode or the MagizAI booking form block. Signed-in customers are now recognised in the chat, and new read-only tools answer from the events you list with The Events Calendar.
WhatsApp customers who hide their number reach you
A WhatsApp user can keep their phone number private from businesses. Their messages were dropped before; they now arrive in your inbox, which shows their @username or "Phone number not shared". A customer who hides their number later stays in the same conversation.
Chat bookings understand "next week"
When a visitor asks for a time next week, this week, at the weekend or next month, the chat now offers times from that period instead of from tomorrow. A day they name still comes first.
Email the customer when a teammate joins
Turn it on in Settings, Email. The first time someone on your team replies in a chat, the customer gets an email in their language saying a person has joined, so they come back. It is sent only when the customer gave their email.
Set the chat window's name and AI badge
Appearance, Chat panel now sets the name shown at the top of the chat window without renaming the chatbot. In the Card design, keep the green AI badge, use your own short word or hide it. Saving the appearance no longer empties your common questions.
Subprocessors and AI Act pages
Two new pages on magiz.ai: one lists the companies that process data for MagizAI and what each one does, the other explains how the chat window tells visitors they are talking to an AI. The privacy policy now names where the servers are.
One-tap WHMCS confirmations, passwords after an emailed code
Orders, renewals, tickets and other changes a client asks for in the chat now take one tap on Confirm. Asked for a login, the chat shows the username, panel address and one-click sign-in. A password shows only after a code emailed to the client, and only if you allow it in the module.
Skill switches and full knowledge source details
Each skill now has a switch that says On or Off, with filters, search, groups by source and bulk on, off or delete. On the Train page, open any source to see its details and full text, and edit sources you added as text, then Save and retrain.
Live email preview when writing campaigns
A new email campaign now shows the email beside the editor and updates it as you type. A saved draft opens on the same view, with sending a test, sending now and scheduling together in one place.
Taps on phones show at once
On phones, buttons, menu rows and links on magiz.ai and in your dashboard now show they were pressed, and a page that is slow to open shows a spinner. On magiz.ai, the chat bubble no longer covers the phone menu.
Booking forms for appointments, stays and requests
Take bookings from a link, a QR code or one line of code on your site, starting from a ready template. Customers get confirmations and reminders by email, and on your own WhatsApp number once Meta approves its templates, and can move or cancel from their own link. Find it in Apps, Bookings.
Drag and drop builder for booking questions
Drag question types into steps, reorder them, and show a question or a whole step only after certain answers. The real form updates beside you as you edit, every change can be undone, and a canvas view shows the customer's path from start to booking.
Visitors book, move and cancel in the chat
Link a booking form to your chatbot and visitors book by tapping a service, a free time and Confirm, on your site or on WhatsApp. Free times come from the form, and nothing is booked, moved or cancelled until the visitor says yes to a summary.
Workflows and webhooks can start from bookings
Every change to a booking (made, requested, confirmed, moved, cancelled, done or no-show) can now start a workflow, with the booking's details for later steps, and reach your webhooks. The workflow step that sends a WhatsApp message now sends through your connected number.
Hide the "Talk to a human" link
A new switch in your chatbot's settings, Handoff and hours, hides the "Talk to a human" link and menu entry in the chat window without turning handoff off. Visitors can still ask the assistant for a person, and your team still gets those chats.
New clients can buy in the WHMCS chat
With module 1.8.0 or later, a visitor with no account can order in the chat: WHMCS opens their account, places the order, and a Pay now button signs them in to the invoice. Clients can also close their own tickets. Tick both on the module's Actions tab.
AI replies without em dashes
The assistant's replies no longer contain em dashes. As a reply streams, each one becomes what a person would type: a comma, a colon, a hyphen or a list bullet, and the Arabic comma after Arabic text.
Confirmed requests reach your team, with fewer questions
When a visitor confirms a request in the chat, your team is now alerted with the full summary and the chat stays open. The assistant asks at most two questions at a time, never asks again for a name, email or phone already given, and confirms with buttons.
No more "page not found" during updates
While MagizAI was being updated, pages could answer "page not found" for a short moment. A new version now takes over only once it is ready, so pages and the chat window keep loading during updates.
Two-step login with an authenticator app
Turn on two-step login in Your profile: scan the QR code with an authenticator app and save your recovery codes. Signing in on the web then asks for a 6-digit code after your password. MagizAI staff working in your workspace cannot change it.
Three chat designs with a live preview
In a chatbot's Design tab, pick Classic, Messenger or Card and watch the real chat window change as you edit, in a desktop or phone preview. Eight one-click styles set many options at once, and your install code stays the same.
Set your brand during first-time setup
First-time setup now has a brand step: choose a colour, upload a logo and see a live picture of your chat, or skip it for now. You can change it later in Settings, Brand.
Write with AI for your chatbot's texts
Beside the welcome message, persona, instructions, button text and other fields, Write with AI drafts the text from what your chatbot knows about your business, or makes yours shorter, friendlier or more formal. Nothing is saved until you save.
Learn from past chats in other tools
Import chat history exported from Intercom, Zendesk, Crisp, tawk.to, Freshdesk or Help Scout on the chatbot's Import page. Personal details are removed, the AI picks out the good answers your team gave, and they are trained as Q&A, after your check if you prefer.
Send email through your own mail server
In Settings, Email, connect your own mail server and the emails your workspace sends to customers and your team go through it; MagizAI checks it can sign in first. Under Email templates you can reword chat summary, booking and verification emails per language.
Chat summaries and follow-up emails by AI
In a chatbot's Emails tab, the AI can email your team a summary when a chat ends, and the visitor a recap in their language. It can also send visitors one personal follow-up an hour, a day, three days or a week later, always with an unsubscribe link.
A daily digest for your team
Switch on the daily digest in Settings, Email and your team gets yesterday in numbers each morning at the hour you pick: chats, the share the AI answered, handoffs, new leads and open questions, with the AI's highlights from the day's chats.
Contact lists and email campaigns
Contacts now has Lists and Email campaigns. Tick several contacts to change their status, add them to a list or delete them, then email a list with merge fields, a test copy to yourself and a report per address. Every campaign carries an unsubscribe link.
Workflows on a canvas, with schedules and webhooks
Build workflows by dragging steps onto a canvas and joining them, or keep the list view. A workflow can now start on a schedule, from an incoming webhook or from another workflow's event, and wait steps pause it for minutes, hours or days.
Connect WHMCS with one code
Instead of copying keys between MagizAI and WHMCS, create a connection code in Connectors, WHMCS and paste it into the MagizAI module (1.7.0 or later). The module then sets up the chat, client sign-ins and the knowledge sync. Each code works once.
BigCommerce product and order look-ups
Connect a BigCommerce store in Connectors with a store API account. Your chatbot can then find products by keyword and look up a shopper's recent orders, only by an email your site has verified. It only reads and never changes the store.
New pages on magiz.ai for topics and industries
New pages explain MagizAI for websites, installing a chatbot, live chat, WhatsApp, Shopify, multilingual chat, customer service, white label and your own AI key. Eleven industries joined Solutions, from law firms and car dealers to gyms and events.
Comparison pages for five other chat tools
New pages compare MagizAI with Tidio, Intercom, Chatbase, LiveChat and Crisp, in English, French and Arabic. Each names the source of the other product's facts and the date they were checked, and the tables stack on a phone.
Install screen with live status and a platform picker
The Install tab now shows whether the chat is running on your site and when it was last seen there. Pick your platform, such as React, Vue, Angular, WordPress, Shopify, Google Tag Manager or WHMCS, for its own steps and code.
Common questions get their own tab
The questions visitors tap under your welcome message have their own tab in the chatbot editor, with ready-made sets per kind of business and AI suggestions from your content. In the Classic design they now show in every layout, and many settings gained a tip with an example.
The inbox opens full screen
The inbox now fills the window like a messaging app, so your team can focus on chats. A slim bar at the top has the way back to the dashboard, your workspace, your own status (online, away or offline) and a light or dark switch.
A simpler, cleaner dashboard
Each chatbot has one row of tabs that swipes on a phone, with no hidden More menus, and its overview shows the three steps to get it live with your progress. Connectors have their own section with a tile per tool, and API tokens their own tab in Settings.
The affiliate program has its own page
Affiliate now sits in the dashboard menu with a page of its own. Join with one button, then your referral link leads the page, and a card per plan shows what a customer pays monthly or yearly and what that sale earns you.
Better answers about prices, services and other languages
Asking what something costs now finds your pricing page, and "What do you offer?" draws on your homepage and services pages. Questions in French or Arabic, even short ones, are answered from English content in the visitor's own language.
Product cards match what the visitor asked for
Product cards now follow the visitor's own words. A question about business email shows email plans, not business hosting plans that only share a word with it.
Pages made with page builders now train
Some page builders, BigCommerce's among them, leave the main part of a page empty and draw the content around it. Training used to fail on those pages with no readable text. It now reads the content around the empty area.
September 2026
The MagizAI affiliate program opens
Refer businesses to MagizAI and earn a commission when they pay for a plan. Join from the affiliates page, share your link, and follow your referrals, earnings and payout requests in your affiliate dashboard.
WHMCS module follows team member permissions
Team members on a WHMCS account now see only what the account owner allows them, and a signed-out client area starts a fresh chat instead of carrying on the last client's. Deactivating and reactivating the module keeps its settings, so nothing has to be pasted again.
WHMCS connection test says what to fix
Test connection on the WHMCS connector now tells a module that is uploaded but not activated apart from missing files, and says whether chats from your client area carry a signed-in client. A visitor who needs to sign in is given your client area's address.
Privacy, terms, refund and cookie pages published
The privacy policy, terms, refund policy and cookie policy now each have their own page on the website, linked from the footer. The acceptable use policy and the data processing agreement are published too.
WHMCS hosting plans as cards in the chat
With the MagizAI module for WHMCS (1.2.0 or later), the assistant shows your hosting plans as cards with the price, the features and a link to order, instead of describing them in a sentence. Plans are copied from WHMCS every day and after each passing connection test.
MCP guide with starter programs
A new MCP guide explains how to connect an MCP server so the assistant can use its tools in the chat. It comes with 12 starter programs for businesses such as clinics, restaurants, schools and online shops: small PHP programs with demo data that run on ordinary shared hosting.
Pay for your plan once a year
Plans can now be paid once a year instead of every month. Switch the pricing page to Yearly to see the yearly prices.
Website crawler now uses the MagizAI name
The crawler that reads your website for training now identifies itself as MagizAIBot. Some site firewalls turned away the name it used before, which left those pages untrained; they can be trained now.
