Bookings on WhatsApp
A WhatsApp booking bot that takes the booking in the chat
MagizAI is a WhatsApp booking bot: customers message your WhatsApp Business number, the AI asks what they want to book, lists your free times as numbered choices and books when they say yes. It runs on Meta's official WhatsApp Cloud API, so you need your own Meta app and number, and Meta bills you for messages.
Connecting a number to Meta's Cloud API is the slow part, and our team helps you through it at no cost. Need a hand? How free setup works
How a booking goes on WhatsApp
Customers book by replying
The bot lists your services and free times with numbers. A customer replies with a number, or writes what they want, such as "Friday at 10".
Plain text, no buttons or cards
Through this connection WhatsApp messages are plain text both ways. There are no tap buttons, pictures or calendar cards in the chat, and links are sent as text.
Times that are really free
Free times come from your booking form: opening hours, service length, your team and the bookings already made. A time is held the moment it is booked, so two customers cannot take it.
A yes before anything is booked
The bot sends a summary of the service, the time and the customer's details, and books only after a yes. Its reply then gives a reference number and a link to change or cancel.
Move or cancel in the same chat
A customer who booked in that WhatsApp chat can ask to move or cancel there, up to the cut-off you set. After it, the bot says so and offers to pass the request to your team.
Reminders through approved templates
Confirmations and reminders go out on WhatsApp as message templates that Meta approves. MagizAI creates them in your own WhatsApp account from the form's Notifications tab, and Meta reviews each one.
Your team in the same thread
WhatsApp chats sit in the MagizAI inbox beside website chats. Anyone on your team can take one over, and the bot stops booking in it once they answer.
One bot for WhatsApp and your website
The chatbot that books on WhatsApp also books in your website chat window, where the same choices appear as buttons. Both read one booking form, so a time taken on one is gone on the other.
