How it fits a Framer site

  • No plugin to install

    MagizAI has no Framer plugin and nothing in the Marketplace. The chat is one line of custom code, the route Framer's help page gives for chat tools.

  • Every page, or only the ones you pick

    A script added in Project Settings can run across the site. Framer also lets you limit it to pages you select from a list.

  • Test on the published site

    Framer does not load custom code in the canvas preview. Publish, then open the live page to see the chat.

  • Choose Once for how often it runs

    Framer asks whether a script runs once or on every page visit. Pick Once: the chat needs to load a single time.

  • Answers from your own content

    The chatbot learns your pages, files and questions and answers. It shows the source under each answer and says it does not know when your content does not cover a question.

    It asks interested visitors for contact details and books appointments in the chat when you link a booking form. When a person is needed, the chat moves to your team inbox.

    Create and train the chatbot

    Sign up, choose a plan and create a chatbot. Enter your site address so it reads your pages, then ask it real questions on the Test page.

    Copy your snippet

    Open the Install tab and copy your one-line snippet.

    Open Project Settings and select the Custom Code tab. Click Add Script, name it MagizAI, paste the snippet, place it at the end of the body and choose Once.

    Publish the site and open the live page in a browser. Look for the chat button, ask a question and click through a few pages.

Questions people ask

Is there a MagizAI plugin in the Framer Marketplace?

No. There is nothing to install from the Marketplace. The chat goes in with one line of custom code in Project Settings.

Does Framer have its own AI chatbot?

Framer's AI page describes AI for the person building the site: an agent that creates pages, sections, copy and visuals. It does not mention a chatbot that answers your visitors (checked on 10 October 2026). Framer's custom code help page names chat tools as something you add with a script.

Which Framer plans allow custom code?

Framer's custom code help page names no plan requirement, and its pricing page does not list custom code as a paid feature (both checked on 10 October 2026). The pricing page does say that connecting a custom domain needs a paid plan.

Where does the chatbot script go in Framer?

Open Project Settings, select the Custom Code tab and click Add Script. Framer offers positions at the start or end of the head and body: choose the end of the body.

Why can't I see the chat in Framer's preview?

Will it slow my Framer site down?
